Our goal is to be recognised for delivering exemplary services both within and beyond the university sector. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, multi-skilled Facilities Management (FM) team, providing a professional, customer-focused, compliant, and cost-effective service.
About the Role
The role involves supporting a range of facilities duties, including driving university vehicles to transport library books between the main campus and an off-site storage facility. Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness at the off-site location and efficiently managing waste removal. Ensuring site security is a key aspect of the role, requiring vigilance and responsiveness to any incidents that may arise, including the protection of university assets. Other duties include completing standard reports on daily activities, irregularities, and incidents such as property damage, unauthorised access, or unusual occurrences.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:45 PM
About You
We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive individuals with experience in cleaning standards and driving. A full, valid driving license is required, as the role involves daily operation of university vehicles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
