We have an exciting new opportunity within the Strategic Planning Office to provide insights and performance monitoring to inform the delivery of the University's Strategic vision as defined in our Education Strategy. We are looking for an excellent communicator, who can disseminate complex information appropriate to their audience, who can negotiate and influence people at all levels.

About the Role:

This will be an interesting and varied role where you will ultimately support the University to improve the student experience and deliver the highest standards of education and support for all students.

You will contribute to institutional objectives through the delivery of effective data analysis around key issues linked to the student experience and contributing to the development of our evaluation framework enabling us to capture the impact of our work on students.

You will be responsible for writing and analysing management information, data and reports to identify trends and inform decision making. You will also work with colleagues to understand the implications of insight drawn from the data and how the data can be applied to improve our student offer.

About You:

  • Experience of using data management systems and Microsoft Office to a high standard including constructing complex multi-layered spreadsheets.
  • Experience building and maintaining visually appealing reports using tools such as Power BI.
  • The ability to balance competing demands and manage expectations in a professional manner.
  • Experience in developing and operating successful information analysis operations.
  • Skilled in statistical analysis, including analysing complex data sets to provide conclusions and solutions.
  • Experience building relationships and working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills demonstrating attention to detail with a track record of numerical accuracy.
  • You will need to be comfortable dealing with a fast paced, varied workload whilst maintaining the highest standards and customer service.
