Are you looking to learn new skills as part of a busy and driven team? We are looking for a Sport Development Placement (Participation) to join MMU Sport, based predominantly at our Manchester city centre office which is in the Business School.
The role:
To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional organisational skills, able to manage a vastly varied workload and a range of stakeholders, both internal and external. You'll be a great communicator, a team player and keen to learn new skills in this challenging but rewarding opportunity.
Supporting the Sport Development team in the administration and day to day running of our Active Campus Programme, Campus Leagues, Active Outdoors and faculty events. We are looking for a candidate who is looking to gain more experience of working within the sport development sector and bring new ideas on how to engage those students and staff at the University who aren't physically active. The ideal candidate will be confident, approachable, computer literate, creative and have a can-do attitude.
Role commences 1st September 2025 and is a 10-month fixed term contract for those studying on a sandwich degree.

Both placement roles will work to increase student participation and support with the development and growth of the programmes.
