Apprenticeship Development Advisor (Apprenticeship Unit)
The Apprenticeships Unit team is responsible for supporting the development, recruitment and delivery of Degree Apprenticeships. Manchester Met is the largest and leading university for Degree Apprenticeships in the UK. We currently work with over 400 employers, including many global brands and have over 2,000 apprentices on programme. This is an exciting and dynamic team working across the University and with apprenticeship employers to deliver high quality and industry relevant undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.
The Apprenticeships Unit is now seeking to recruit an Apprenticeship Development Advisor for our award winning Degree Apprenticeship portfolio. The Apprenticeship Business Advisor will play a pivotal role in the development of apprenticeship programmes and support the achievement of the University growth targets for Apprenticeships.
Based in the Apprenticeship Unit, they will contribute to the recruitment of new employers and apprentices. They will initiate, develop and maintain a personal client management relationship with partner employers to sustain engagement, facilitate collection of documentation and generate new business opportunities.
As part of the Apprenticeship team, they will support the running of apprenticeship programmes and projects, and liaise with academic teams and other departments within the University.
The clients being supported will be employers who have, or are interested in recruiting, apprentices at the University.
Ideal Candidate:We are seeking applications from individuals who have expertise in initiating contact and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ideally with knowledge and experience of apprenticeships and/or higher education.
