We are looking for a pro-active Faculty Press and Communications Executive to join us here at Manchester Met. The role will sit across two faculties: the Faculty of Health, Psychology and Social Care and the Faculty of Education.
You will develop media, PR and internal communications activities to enhance both the Faculty and University reputation and provide clear, consistent and engaging content to a range of different audiences. You will advise and support the senior management team in broadcasting Faculty communications to external (local, national and international) and internal audiences, and to support and prepare academics in their work with the media.
You will work on developing effective channels of communication with journalists, partners, internal staff and stakeholders in the public and private sectors, both online and across traditional media.
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with excellent writing skills, superb time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to distil and articulate key messages via a range of communications. You will also have:
