Lecturer in Retail (Finance) (3503)

The Department of Marketing, Retail and Tourism is on an ambitious course to strengthen its profile as an inclusive and highly renowned department of marketing professional practice and research for places and the service sectors.

We are looking to appoint a Lecturer in Retail (Finance) to help drive forward our successful portfolio of Marketing and Retail courses and shape the next generation of digital marketing professionals.

 

About You

You will

  • be an experienced Finance specialist and a former industry finance practitioner (significant senior level experience and evidence of CPD)
  • have experience of teaching in a higher education setting, including experience of apprenticeship programmes and/or executive education.
  • Be able to teach on undergraduate, degree apprenticeship and postgraduate courses, supervise students, provide pastoral support, and undertake departmental academic citizenship duties.
  • be student-focused in your academic practice, committed to quality, collaborative in your work and driven in your own professional development.

ECRs will join a community of researchers led by a strong professoriate including Prof Dominic Medway, Prof Cathy Parker, Prof Gary Warnaby, Prof Pete Naude, Prof Paul Smith and Prof Ben Kerrane, and be supported for membership of the Business Transformations Research Centre.
