Partnership Tutor (Primary/Secondary Initial Teacher Education) (2939)

We offer two primary teacher training courses, a BA in Primary/Primary with Mathematics and a PGCE Primary and two secondary programmes, a BSc Secondary Mathematics and a PGCE in various subjects. All are offered at the specially developed Brooks building at the Birley campus in Manchester. We have a large team of specialists who are committed to developing highly skilled, reflective practitioners to teach in the region and beyond. The programmes were updated two years ago and continue to evolve to meet changing requirements.

About the role:

These roles support our primary and/or secondary programmes. You will act as the first point of contact with contacts in our partner schools, developing placement provision, sharing best practice, leading the quality assurance process and developing and undertaking mentor training and student placement visits. Your work will help us review, adapt and improve our programmes to meet course and external frameworks.

About you:

We are looking for someone who has experience of providing advice and guidance to student teachers whilst they are on placement, of delivering learning materials, of teaching in primary and/or secondary schools, and of working within quality assurance frameworks.
