We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Research Assistant to join the Faculty of Health and Education for an exciting industry-funded research project looking at the association between pomegranate extract and inflammatory markers, physical and cognitive function and cardiometabolic risk factors in older adults.
As the ideal candidate, you will hold an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., nutrition, biochemistry, biology) and have a prior experience in performing laboratory analysis of tissue samples. You will need to take a proactive approach in participant recruitment and will have excellent organisational skills, record keeping and attention to detail. Using your own initiative while working as part of a team is vital for this role.
