Residence Manager (4252)

A dynamic and driven Residence Manager is required to lead the Student Living Team in the Facilities Department. This position combines strong customer focussed service skills with knowledge of successful property management and managing a fast paced summer business programme. 


About the role:

You will manage the operations within the University owned Halls of Residence through effective line-management of the Student Living Team, monitoring team performance and co-ordinating training and development.  You will have previous property management experience with a strong focus on health and safety.  Knowledge of project management would be an advantage. Excellent student engagement will be essential to ensure a high quality student experience. You will be required to contribute to the successful collaboration and cohesion of the wider Estates, Facilities and Capital Development Service where necessary.

You will work independently and possess excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage and co-ordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. 


About you:

It is essential that you are an excellent communicator with previous experience of property management with the ability to react quickly and effectively to changing situations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have previous  line management experience and a professional but personable approach to delivering excellent service.
