Talent and Recruitment Administrator (5742)

We are a complex organisation, always evolving, recruiting for a wide range of roles from academics, baristas, accountants and even sports coaches, so you will sometimes need to think on your feet.

About the role:
As a Talent and Recruitment Administrator you will work closely with a friendly and supportive Talent and Recruitment team where everyone plays a vital role recruiting for our future. You'll be heavily candidate focused, providing a positive candidate experience, always.  This is a varied role, where you'll support the team with managing enquiries, arranging interviews and preparing offers, as well as managing our social media presence.

About you:
As well as previous experience of working in a HR environment, we're looking for knowledge and understanding of: 

  • Building positive relationships with our stakeholders and candidates
  • Recruitment processes
  • Using Social Media in recruitment
  • How to promote good Equality and Diversity practice
  • Working in a customer focussed environment
  • Providing excellent administrative support

In recognition of staff contributions to the University's achievements during the 2021/2022 academic year, an additional discretionary payment of 2% per annum will be added to your salary until 31/07/23 in order to ensure consistency amongst existing and incoming staff.  This additional 2% will be paid pro rata in equal monthly installments, on top of your salary each month until 31/07/23.
