Web Projects Officer (5918)

Do you want to join our Library & Cultural Services team at an exciting time in a new role supporting Man Met's research community? As one of the top modern universities for research quality you will be working with a range of stakeholders to help shape our online offer for researchers.

We're looking for someone with enthusiasm and drive to work closely with the Research Services Team to consolidate information into a more effective and efficient online journey for our researchers.


This is a Fixed term contract until the 31st July 2023.


The Role:

You will deliver end-to-end support for this digital project; scoping the online offer for researchers across a number of Manchester Metropolitan websites; briefing stakeholders on the current website environment and the user journey; planning a holistic approach to simplify access to information and deliver a user-centred structure.

The Candidate:

We are looking for a proactive colleague who:

  • has experience of project management and delivering customer focussed digital services
  • has strong communication and interpersonal skills - You will be communicating with a range of stakeholders 
  • is able to demonstrate ownership of their own personal workload.

In recognition of staff contributions to the University's achievements during the 2021/2022 academic year, an additional discretionary payment of 2% per annum will be added to your salary until 31/07/23 in order to ensure consistency amongst existing and incoming staff.  This additional 2% will be paid pro rata in equal monthly installments, on top of your salary each month until 31/07/23.
