Explore our vacanciesAt Manchester Metropolitan University, we are committed to creating an intentionally inclusive culture of belonging that promotes equity and celebrates diversity.
We are focused on strengthening our inclusive recruitment, to attract, support, and retain a diverse workforce at all levels, a core objective of our Inclusive and Diverse Culture Strategy (IDC). We believe that having a diverse and inclusive workforce makes us a stronger University, providing better outcomes, addressing inequities and creating opportunities for everyone – including our employees, students, and visitors – to flourish.
We are advancing equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) for all of our communities, striving to create a positive culture of inclusion for all.
The University values its five Staff Equality Networks - Disability, Gender, Rainbow (LGBTQ+), Race and Working Parents & Carers. The staff equality networks provide a voice for University staff to engage with and consult on equality and diversity-related matters, policies and procedures. They support the University to raise awareness, develop behaviours, spaces and a sense of belonging where every single person can expect to feel safe, supported and treated with dignity.
