Are you passionate about enabling others to fulfil their potential? Do you have experience of supporting the delivery of successful researcher development provision, working in a people development role or of being a researcher in Higher Education or elsewhere?

 

The Research Development team at Manchester Metropolitan University is looking for two skilled Researcher Development and Training Officer (RDTOs) to join our friendly team.

 

RDTOs support the development and delivery of the University's researcher development provision, which is designed to aid the development of our researchers at all career stages. The post holders will work closely with the Researcher Development and Training Manager and colleagues across the University to ensure that the aims of the University's research strategy are met.

 

The successful candidates will have highly developed interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions and build positive and effective working relationships. They will have a good awareness of researcher development policy and practice in higher education or another relevant environment, and knowledge of learning and development principles and good practice.
