Position:                      Business Transformation Manager (KTP Associate)

Based at:                     Dunsters Farm, Bury

Salary:                         £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience

The role:

An exciting opportunity has become available to work full time on an 2-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) to develop and embed a strategic management capability to facilitate sustainable business growth, based on enhanced digitisation and people skills that will transform company operations and boost performance, productivity and growth via enhanced in-house capabilities. Employed and supported by a team of academic experts from the university, you will be based at Dunsters Farm’s premises in Bury.

Qualification we require:

A first degree at 2:1 level or higher in management with Information Systems, and with evidence of excellent aptitude for working in an IT orientated environment. An MSc in a relevant subject such as supply chain management, data analytics or e-business would be desirable.

 

Application requirements:

 

  • Good understanding of contemporary internet-based information technology.
  • Ability to communicate well with others, including outside systems vendors and internal operatives.
  • Ability to perceive and manage entire systems.
  • A strong sense of project ownership and attention to detail.
  • The ability to understand the needs of internal and external customers and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of service operations management analysis, modelling and improvement techniques (e.g. data analysis, modelling, advanced operations management) would be desirable.
  • Preferably 2 or more years’ experience of working in a supply chain management, logistics and/or information systems environment.
