Faculty Marketing Assistant (4402)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated marketing professional to work across a significant area of marketing activity. This is an exciting time to be working at Manchester Metropolitan and this role gives you the chance to play your part in our journey.

Based in the Health and Education Faculty Marketing Team, you will deliver marketing and communications activities to drive undergraduate applications and raise the Faculty's profile. You will work closely with academic colleagues, with a particular focus on events management, PPC, social media content, and email marketing.

About you:

You will be a proactive and hands-on marketer with solid all-round marketing skills including:

  • digital marketing (AdWords, paid social, display)
  • content production
  • campaign delivery
  • CRM and email client management 
  • publication production
  • copywriting
  • commissioning design, photography and video
  • events management 
  • tracking, reporting and evaluating campaigns

You'll need to be comfortable working with an array of different colleagues to deliver projects and activities, including securing the support of academic course leaders. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to build positive working relationships with stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple competing priorities is a must, as is delivering events and communications with a consistently excellent visitor experience. We're particularly looking for candidates with strong digital marketing and PPC experience and good content creation skills, who are able to interpret results and optimise campaign performance. Accuracy and attention to detail are also of paramount importance for this role.
