We are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified IT Advisor to join our Service Delivery Team. This is an exciting opportunity within a thriving university and dynamic team. You will be involved in a wide and diverse range of IT support and operational activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the All Saints Campus within Information Systems and Digital Services at Manchester Metropolitan University as an IT Advisor.

This hands-on role requires an enthusiastic and innovative individual with a track record of delivering outstanding customer service. You must possess outstanding Microsoft Windows support skills, and have a proven track record of successful involvement in IT projects.

You will be a key player in one of ISDS’s busiest teams, supporting a number of service departments and faculty operation.

You should be able to:

  • Contribute to significant projects, enhance service provision, and take an active role in personal and team development
  • Liaise with faculty and campus-based services staff to ensure delivery of quality customer-focused services
  • Work closely with colleagues from other areas to implement opportunities for integrated service provision
  • Plan and prioritise own workload and, where applicable, that of the others
  • Contribute to the planning of complex projects of a technical nature and monitoring progress against plans
  • Develop, maintain and apply a significant breadth and depth of current technical and professional expertise
  • Understand customer requirements and to develop relationships and contacts
