Manchester Metropolitan University Business School is one of the elite, triple accredited by AACSB; EQUIS; and AMBA, indicating our strong commitment for high standards of education, research and business engagement, which make up the backbone of our mission to transform lives, businesses, and communities.

The Department of Accounting, Finance and Banking (AFB) is one of the largest departments in the North-West of England with over 1,500 students and around 55 dedicated academic staff. As part of an expansion in our programme portfolio, the Department is seeking to appoint a Programme Support Tutor in Accounting and Finance. The focus for this appointment is to provide administrative support to the Head of Department and programme teams. This will include support with admissions, programme calendars and management, administration for guest speakers and masterclasses and developing programme set up in relation to university systems.  The specifics of the post will continuously evolve to support the strategic needs of the department. A flexible approach to working will be required. The post may require some evening and Saturday work to deliver events such as recruitment fairs. Given the size of our existing cohort, we largely work in teams. The successful applicant will work closely with our programme teams as well as our existing Student Experience Officer. As such, this individual will have great interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate with others.
