Research Ethics and Governance Manager (maternity cover)
In an area of growing importance to the university, our Research and Knowledge Exchange team is responsible for providing the core university support around external funding and awards, the quality of the research environment, the impacts of the Research Excellence Framework (REF), business partnerships, regional engagement and university wide programmes. Working collaboratively and at very senior levels, you’ll ensure key performance indicators across the university are being delivered in a way that is consistent with our vision and values.
We are currently searching for an experienced Research Ethics and Governance Manager to provide maternity cover for a 12-month period. We are looking for somebody who has a background in health-related and biomedical research and NHS sponsorship but applications from ethics coordinators and managers in other disciplines will be considered.
We're passionate about the research that we carry out and the benefits that it brings to people's lives and are excited about the ways in which we are demonstrating compliance with the Concordat for Research Integrity. You'll be joining a small but dedicated team of ethics professionals and RKE Managers who provide a high-level of expertise and guidance to academic colleagues.
If you would like to join our people and share our ambition, we would love to hear from you.
To apply, please submit your CV and Covering Letter via our application portal. For informal enquiries, please contact Sam Gray (Head of Research Environment and Impact) on S.Gray@mmu.ac.uk
