Senior Lecturer (Digital Marketing and Analytics) (3367)

Department of Marketing, Retail and Tourism is one of the UK’s largest providers of education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising and Branding, Public Relations, Retail Management, Place Management and Tourism Management. Our undergraduate, apprenticeship, postgraduate and research degrees provide professionally focused education. Our key mission is to develop our students into highly employable, socially and environmentally responsible professionals.

 

Externally recognised for the quality of our teaching, the Department’s courses are accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. We are home to the internationally renowned Institute of Place Management, an Institute of Travel and Tourism Centre of Excellence.

 

We are interested to hear from people who are able to demonstrate teaching and practitioner experience in one or more of the following disciplines:

 

  • Data analytics (essential knowledge of GA4 and Adobe analytics experience, and desirable knowledge of Universal Analytics)
  • Digital marketing analytics
  • Tech marketing
  • Search engine marketing & SEO
  • Digital marketing performance and measurement
  • Paid & display advertising
  • Digital comms strategy
  • Conversion strategy

 

You will have considerable experience of teaching marketing within higher education and an ability to teaching and research in the field of strategic marketing. You will have a track record of peer-reviewed publications in internationally esteemed journals and it will be desirable experience of bidding for research funding. You will be student-focused in your academic practice, highly collegiate and committed to your own professional development.
