Clinical Scientist Developer - (7808)

The Department of Life Sciences is one of the largest in the University attracting large numbers of students on a range of foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. At undergraduate level, we offer degrees in Biomedical Science, Healthcare Science (Physiological Sciences), Human Physiology and Human Biosciences. There are taught postgraduate programmes in Biomedical Science, Clinical Sciences and Human Physiology. The Department resides within the Faculty of Science and Engineering and benefits from spacious, modern and well-equipped teaching and research facilities having benefitted from significant recent and on-going investment.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to this part time, fixed term, 12 month position who is committed to developing support materials for our doctoral students who are following the Higher Specialist Scientist Training (HSST) programme. You will have an academic, research and/or clinical background, with expertise and experience in histopathology.

You will:

• have a first and higher degree, or appropriate clinical experience, in a relevant discipline
• knowledge of the HSST
• Have a strong track record within the area of histopathology
