An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pro-active Research Associate to support Professor Julia Rouse and colleagues from Aston University and the University of Liverpool to evaluate BOOST – an innovation project that is changing housing associations in Greater Manchester so that ethnically diverse leaders can emerge and thrive.

The Research Associate will co-ordinate the evaluation, supporting the design of surveys, interviews, focus groups and diaries and the collection and analysis of evaluation data. They will also co-ordinate the write-up of the evaluation and lead in managing the evaluation data and ensuring strong ethical compliance.

We are looking for a skilled researcher who can use their initiative and creativity to co-ordinate the project with our partners and to apply skills including data management, collection and analysis of qualitative data and report writing. The project will primarily be qualitative but we will also be presenting programme monitoring data so confidence in using Excel (or willingness to learn rapidly on the job) will also be important.  This is an opportunity to work with a passionate team on a fast moving project to produce evidence about ‘what works' to change organisations to enable diverse leadership.

This role is a part time position until the end of July 2025 (0.4 FTE).

Interviews are likely to take place on the afternoon of 2 October 2024 and the role will commence as soon as possible, following appointment.
