You will be expected to deliver high quality impactful research and education - providing senior academic leadership and fostering excellence in research, innovative teaching, and engagement activities in Sports Business/Management expertise.

The role is based within the Sports Policy Unit, which is the business arm of the Institute for Sport. You will also play a vital role in the broader leadership of the University, contributing positively to our academic culture and supporting the development of others in our inclusive community, for example through mentoring, management, supervision and teamworking.

About you
We would expect you to have experience in the growth of international collaborative research with colleagues in other areas of sport (e.g. sport science) and other disciplinary areas such as health, education, politics, economics or sociology. We are looking for a sustained track record of delivering high quality research outputs, securing external funding of significant value and effectively leading a portfolio of projects.
