We are looking to recruit a permanent Education Services Administrator to work in our Professional Placement team within Education Services.  

Professional Placements is part of a wider Education Services department. The department is organised around three thematic areas: Assessment, Student and Curriculum. Colleagues work collaboratively and flexibly to support the needs of the whole department in relation to the demands of the academic calendar.  

Whilst this role is based within the Professional Placements team, staff work flexibly across all areas of Education Services.  

About the Role:

The Professional Placement team manage the allocation and management of mandatory placements for students on Professional accredited programmes within the Faculty of Health and Education and Department of Healthcare Science in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.  Programmes include; Initial Teacher Training, Nursing, and Psychology.

This role would be well suited to candidates with excellent attention to detail, who works well in a team environment and has excellent customer services skills.

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Can work flexibly to achieve team objectives by assisting others and working collaboratively to complete tasks and projects. 
  • Will have the confidence to take responsibility for defined areas of work within Professional Placements. 
  • Has excellent customer services skills
