Manchester Metropolitan University is one of the UK's largest and most popular higher education institutions. The Department of Recruitment and Admissions plays a key role in recruiting and admitting new students to the University. • Produce and analyse data and information that will support future decision making.
  • Build and nurture relationships with academic and professional service staff to develop and deliver interventions to meet the faculty and University objective.
  • Liaise with key schools and colleges on behalf of the faculty of Business and Law to ensure our portfolio and outreach offering is promoted.
  • Ensure that activity delivered is targeted, monitored and evaluated to maximise the impact of investment in this area.
  • Ensure potential students receive the very best information, advice and guidance about studying with the faculty of Business and Law at Manchester Met.

Key skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate the life changing benefits of higher education and degree apprenticeships to a wide range of audiences.
  • Confident working with a wide range of key stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the university application process, 14-19 qualifications and student finance.
  • Experienced in working independently for large periods of time, and at prioritising and organising your own workload.
  • Skills to plan, write reports and make recommendations.
  • Possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
