We are looking for a vibrant and dynamic individual to join our award-winning EDI team, supporting the Head of EDI and EDI Director to enhance the culture of belonging, promoting equity and celebrate diversity in everything we do. You will play a pivotal part in supporting teams, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels to embed EDI in our systems, processes, and strategies to support us in our vision of becoming intentionally inclusive. You will work with our People and OD colleagues, such as our Talent and Recruitment team supporting colleagues to further develop and embed inclusive practices across the full range of policies, procedures, and processes to ensure fair recruitment and selection processes.

About you:

We are looking for an individual with substantial EDI experience who can work at pace, with the ability to multi-task and deliver high quality programmes for the needs of our staff and student communities.

As an equalities expert, you will provide guidance to the organisation, build meaningful relationships with internal and external partners to implement and embed our Inclusive and Diverse Culture (IDC) strategy.

Reporting into the Head of EDI and working in a team of Specialists you will play a fundamental part in developing, designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative practices at pace, working to competing deadlines ensuring programmes are delivered successfully and to deadlines.           

Location: The role will be based at 6 Great Marlborough Street, and the successful candidate will be required to work, as a minimum, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Assessment Process:

Our interview process will work as follows, and the dates below have been confirmed in dairies:

  • Stage 1: video call interview. If successful with your CV and covering letter you will receive a link to record answers to questions, on Monday 16 March, to be completed by Wednesday 18 March
  • Stage 2: competency-based interview and stakeholder panel in person on Monday 30 March
  • Stage 3: a conversation with our Director of EDI and Associate Director of OD in person on Thursday 9 April
