Are you someone who can turn great ideas into powerful visual stories?
Do you pair creative ambition with the organisational skill needed to lead video projects from concept to delivery?
If so, you might be the person we're looking for.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Video Producer with strong motion graphics expertise to join our in‑house Creative Services team and help deliver high‑quality, creative video content across Manchester Met's marketing and brand activity.
Reporting to the Videography Manager, you'll work across a wide range of projects: from integrated marketing campaigns to ongoing content for websites, social media and events. You'll lead video and motion projects from brief to delivery.
This is a senior, hands‑on role requiring confidence across filming, editing and motion graphics production, with a strong understanding of brand‑led design. You'll work closely with the Design team to create and integrate motion assets into wider campaigns, ensuring all video output strengthens the University's visual identity.
You'll also act as deputy to the Videography Manager, supporting workflow management, prioritising workloads and helping maintain quality and consistency across the team's output. You'll work with our Account and Production Management team but also directly with stakeholders across the University, advising on creative approaches, managing expectations and ensuring projects are delivered on time.
You'll play a key role in delivering the University's YouTube strategy, maintaining a consistent publishing cadence and ensuring all content is high‑quality, on‑brand and fit for purpose.
In return, we offer a genuinely strong package: generous annual leave, hybrid-working to support work-life balance, and access to an excellent pension scheme, plus the opportunity to work on high‑profile, meaningful creative projects at one of the UK's leading universities.
To apply, submit your CV, portfolio and short cover letter outlining your experience and why you want to work with Manchester Met, via our online portal.
