Our HR Service Centre (HRSC) sits within the People & Organisational Development (P&OD) Directorate and provides high quality, customer focused support across the full employee lifecycle to all faculties and departments.

About the role:
We are seeking a (HRSC) Team Leader to support and oversee the HR Service Centre. Reporting to the HR Service Centre Manager, you will be a senior member of the team, playing a key role in delivering a high-quality, operational HR service while promoting a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will:
- Provide day-to-day support, guidance, and oversight to HR Administrators and Senior HR Administrators
- Ensure the effective and consistent delivery of HR processes and services
- Act as an escalation point for non-standard or complex HR cases
- Work closely with HR colleagues and a wide range of internal stakeholders
- Support and contribute to service improvement initiatives
- Lead on designated areas of HR expertise within the Service Centre
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The role is a variable hybrid position, typically requiring on-site presence for 3 days a week.

- Experience using HR systems (Oracle experience is desirable)
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy, deadline-driven environment
- Experience delivering training or supporting others to use HR processes and systems
- A collaborative approach and commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement
