About the role:
The Department delivers an accelerated master's degree (pre-registration) in Occupational Therapy, which commenced in September 2024, with plans to expand our portfolio.
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with a breadth of experience, who is looking to further develop your career in an academic role?
Are you an experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy who is looking for a new opportunity and can help innovate, shape and develop our growing portfolio?
You will be joining our growing team of Occupational Therapy staff to support ongoing development and delivery of this exciting new programme. This role involves:
- high-quality teaching,
- outstanding student support,
- robust assessment of theory and practice,
- other teaching related duties across our programmes, within scope of knowledge and experience.
You will be supported by internal mentorship and staff development to enable you to succeed in this role.

About you:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed clinician, with experience of working across a range of clinical areas, who holds HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Candidates will hold a good first degree plus a master's degree or have evidence of progression towards a Masters.
Candidates with extensive relevant clinical experience without a master's degree, willing to engage in level 7 study to complete a Post-graduate Certificate in Academic Practice, will also be considered.
