The Role

The Illustration with Animation course is seeking a dynamic Senior Lecturer for our programme, to contribute to the teaching, educational innovation and future development of our undergraduate and postgraduate courses. We encourage applicants with a core Illustration specialist knowledge of two / three-dimensional crafts and narrative production / interpretation, together with an understanding of the application of these materials and processes within new and emerging technologies related to animation. An open and exploratory perspective / approach to the subject area is essential, along with evidence of contribution to creative professional practice and / or educational leadership in art and design/illustration/animation contexts.

The role will involve working with existing colleagues in the BA and MA courses to develop exciting project briefs, collaborative entrepreneurial and employability skills, and an excellent student experience.
