About the role.

The successful applicant will provide support to the Business Engagement & Partnerships senior leadership team through a range of activities including, but not limited to, partnership events coordination, diary management, desktop research, drafting communications, preparing documents and managing procurement and supply processes.

You will liaise with current and potential external partners at all levels of seniority (up to and including Chief Executive/Board Director level or equivalent) and their offices, to coordinate effective collaboration between the University and its network of stakeholders, including Industry Advisory Boards and similar groups.

About you

We are seeking an organised and committed individual who will thrive in a busy role, working across multiple teams. The successful candidate will be a team-player and a self-starter with initiative, drive and confidence to proactively contribute ideas and seek out the most efficient and innovative ways to use our resources, to reach the best outcomes.

This is a new role and will involve working closely with both academic and professional services colleagues both within the Directorate and across the University. The role would be suited an individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment who is able to bring a pragmatic and collaborative approach to work.  

Knowledge and experience of working in similar support or administrative roles would be considered beneficial for candidates applying for the role, in addition to experience of working directly and in detail with colleagues in senior leadership positions.

Experience of personally managing and coordinating events, including all related communications and procurement activity is essential for this role.
